Thank you everyone for your replay. That is what i thought as well after seeing how he gets agitated when she is near by.
I was hopeful to find a solution to this. At least she is safe from him and gets plenty of free range time.

That is tough. We chose to rehome 3 pullets (all same breed) bc head male HATED them...we figured they would have a better life elsewhere all together so we took them to a livestock auction where they were, in fact, sold together to one buyer.
so, sell the male -they are easy to come by, unless you have a particular reason for keeping him. He has shown clear aggression tendencies that may show up again with another flock member.
