I dont think its bumblefoot and his feet are not hot to the touch, but there seems to be a build up of thick skin where his pads would be (his brothers are completely soft and normal) its actually quite hard and crusty and i want to make sure im looking after him right

Should i bathe him in epsom salts?

Im wondering if its ammonia burns :(

As for frequency I do not now. The feet look pretty soiled and the protruding scaling could mean some kind of fungal infection, but I'm not an expert on Bumblefoot either.

Im working on something that looks like that on both of one of my Ganders feet. Im treating it like it is bumble foot. But not doing the surgery, not sure if this will help but so far Im getting the lumps to decrease. His was a little larger than that. The routine we are on is all day out in the pasture every evening he comes in the house and stands in about one inch of warm water with one cup of Epsom salt dissolved in it. As long as he is willing to stand there. Then I rub it with triple antibiotic cream and put him in a pen in the house on puppy pads. Then again repeat in the morning. Then spray with a wound spay and send him back out with his flock. I learned my lesson with epsom salt last year when I was giving my goose muti baths in it and she got chronic diarrhea from to much magnesium. So Im just concentrating on his feet were on day 3

Im not saying Im doing this the right way. but he is doing well and I am treating it as bumble foot Pinkertons case is much more advanced than what you have fingers crossed your boy dose fine. I know how much you love them. I totaly agree with goosebaby in my case we have a weed here called goat heads. and some how they creeped in the goose yard this year. Just 2 plants and I burned and raked them up but I think I was a little late.
