Yesterday I posted how I thought my hen had sour crop. After making my "diagnosis", I made her vomit and tried to give her some yogurt and water by syringe, but only got a few drops in her. I gave her a dose of Monistat yesterday afternoon and was about to go give her the next. ( I kept her in a dog crate in the house last night). This morning she was standing in the crate looking the same, but her respirations are loud and rattling. I'm afraid to try and force anything into her at this point. I'm worried that I did this to her by making her puke yesterday. Her crop is only ping pong sized and soft, now I'm not so sure about the first diagnosis. What should I do? Should I keep trying, or let her go back outside and die in peace?
