I am currently hatching eggs in my classroom. I started with 2 incubators side by side(18 in each one). Everything was going good until the one wasn't keeping the temp. It was at the end of the day so I quickly took the eggs out of that incubator and put it in the other. I just noticed that the temp was fine all along. Somehow the digital thermometer got changed to Celsius.
That brings us to today and my question.
Today is the 18th day. I need to remove them from the egg turner. I don't know if I should keep them all in one and then as they hatch move them to the 2nd incubator to fully dry out (a few of the eggs are smaller than the others.) or Should I separate them into 2 for the actual lock down and hatch. I get really afraid when they start pecking at the others who are trying to hatch out while they are still in drying out. Please help Thank You
