Advise Needed !!!!!

okay so iv got some chicks there coming up 3weeks old, slowly one by one there dying, iv no idea why there with my broodie hen whos great with them.
There on chick crumb and all bounce around happy as larry then all of a sudden I come back to a dead one .
what am I doing wrong advise needed please ???

More info needed. Are they with other chickens or by themselves? When do they die---mainly at night or during the day?

sorry normally through the night, there with the broodie hen in coop no other chickens can get to them

OK, do you check on them at first dark to make sure they are with Mom---is their nest big enough they have some room to get beside her if they are to hot and not have to stay under her?

I check them in the morning, through the day, in the evening and before I go to bed.
normally I wake up to a dead one or if I go out I come back to a dead. iv lost 5 out of 12 chicks in 3 weeks.
there space is a big enough space.

Are they on wire or on the dirt----should have asked that earlier?

no nothing else just chick crumb and water

Do you have any grit/sand with them---if not I would go out there now and grab a hand full of sand from some where and put it in a tray/for them. I order sand by the dump truck loads(because I raise 1000's) and start putting some in a pan by 2 weeks and sprinkle some over the top of their feed every time I add food(and only chick feed). You might be got another problem, but go do that asap. I rarely loose a chick after the first few days. Good Luck
