I have a small flock of 6 Guinea Fowl, 3 male and 3 female all about 15 months old. We do keep them in a large coop they have to themselves.
3 weeks ago one of the males was looking lethargic one afternoon and the next morning he was dead. We removed him as soon as we found him and buried him.
The problem is my hens have stopped laying. They were laying sometimes 3 eggs a day but as soon as the one got sick they stopped cold.
I have no idea why. It's been over three weeks and not one egg.
They have free access to quality food and fresh water and are supplemented daily with green and veggies, they also have free access to oyster shells.
Does anyone have any idea why they stopped and what can be done to get them laying again?
