in the amount of time it takes until they start laying again?
The reason I ask....Maggie no sooner finished her (quick) molt, then she was back to laying again. She's laid nothing but bizarre-looking eggs since her return to laying and I'm hoping that will straighten out.
Lil' Bit on the other hand is finished molting but hasn't started laying again. A few times I have seen her in the coop staring at the nestboxes as if she's trying to remember what they are there for.
I'm getting desperate for eggs again. Maggie is the only one laying consistently. Everybody else is either naked or starting their molt.

Yep. It varies a lot. Chickens are worse than cats that way.
