After the first chick hatches, should water be given?

When the first chick hatches should water be given to it? That would involve opening the incubator, which isn't meant to be done. Thanks.

You don't need to worry about water, or food, for the first three days. That's why the hatcherys are able to ship new hatched chicks without any problems.

After the first chick/duckling hatches..are the other eggs okay if the hatched duckling bumps into them, causing them to roll? The pipped section on 2 other eggs is now facing down. Will they be okay that way? Thanks for any info!
