My little gal came from My Pet Chicken and has just not been a healthy chicken from day one. Nothing wrong per se, just not thriving as the other breeds of the same age have been.

Now, as her coop-mates begin laying, she still has not developed the classic big, flopping over comb. She is 17 weeks old. Is this too early to expect full comb development? When can I expect to see that first gorgeous chocolate egg?

Thanks!
