Ages of a Chicken

At what age do I move the chicks from the brooder to their real coop? And at what age do I stop feeding them the chick feed and switch to adult feed?

The rule of thumb is the chicks have to be full feathered (around 8-10 weeks) before moving outside permanently. Depending on the weather, they might have to wait a bit longer.

And what kind of chick feed are you feeding? You generally switch chicks over to adult feed around 18-22 weeks. Here's some links on that

I would be feeding the chicks Purina Start and Grow Amp then switch them to Purina Layena feed ( but this is my first time having chickens so please let me know if that feed is not good) Thanks!
