Aggressive Amuerecana rooster

Lately when I go down to my coop my rooster had been running into my feet and pecking at me. I'm scared that when my children o down to the coop my rooster will attack them. How can I stop this behavior so i don't have to get rid of him

P.S he has never been aggressive before and now that he is almost a year old he is starting to develop spurs as well

There are several recent threads regarding aggressive cockerels/roosters.

For the safety of your children it would be best to either fence him in or invite him to dinner.

A rooster is not protecting his flock when stalking his human caretakers looking for the opportunity to attack them. And he will get worse.
