Aggressive Bourbon Red tom

After taking coffeekittie's advice a month ago, I have had no trouble with him at all. I backed him down once, and have had no trouble with him since and he now fallows me around.
I am 6'6", so when I spread my arms out and stand up, I am very big.

Hey, awesome!
I just found this post, here it is weeks after you wrote it. So glad it worked for you :) Isn't it amazing how we have to get onto the animal's level and communicate in a way they understand? Works though. I hope you didn't ruin your image with your neighbors!

I got into a fight with one of my roosters, he lost. He got aggressive with me and was going at my leg and when he jumped up and grabbed him and pulled him into to me. I help him until he calmed down and then when I went to put him down he attacked again. I scooped him up and help him until I could put him down on my terms. He stopped attacking me after two holding sessions.

He has to know everything is on your terms and nothing is on his. If you sit back and watch your roos with each other you will quickly realize how they think and work. To us this is mean, to them it is establishing the rules and a structure. They can understand it and follow the it.
