Here is a simple way to cure an aggressive hen or rooster. I have a hen that would kill every chicken in the coop if she could. I isolated her in a cage in the coop for a few days, and that didn't help. I thought she was going in the pot if she didn't stop, so as a last resort here's what I did:
Put a small wire tie loosely around each leg. Put another (longer) wire tie between them to restrict the length of the step. start long, and them draw it in until they can't attack the other birds. Trim all of the loose ends off. This will definitely stop the aggressive behavior. She can still go to roost, and get around, but if she goes on the attack, she falls down.
I had it on this hen for three days, then took it off. No change. I'll give it more time, and if that doesn't help, CHICKEN SOUP!
