Hey guys, wondering if there is anything that can be done to discourage fighting among muscovy drakes.

2 of our hand raised boys are just constantly going at each other, we don't want to put either of them down as they're both wonderful but they are quite literally beating the **** out of each other and we don't want them to end up too injured.

I'm aware males will always fight a little, especially with them being nearly a year old. But is there anything we can do to discourage the fighting all the time?

They're a year old so I know that it's their first season mating so they'll be slightly l more aggressive.

We've got 5 females.

Muscovy drakes will not tolerate another doesn’t matter if they grew up together or not once those hormones kick in that’s it. I had 4 at one time for many years and all had to be in their own section of their property. Once separated they would still walk the fence line wanting to fight each other. They also need at least 3 females each to keep the girls from being over bred.
