I have a group of adult geese, Toulouse and some Toulouse mixed with African. They are related, and have been a family unit for several years Suddenly, one poor house is being bullied and attacked by another. It seems that they hang around together all day after I let them out in the morning. They eat, they free range around the yard, and when they walk around the one being bullied stays in the rear of the line and there’s no trouble. When I go to close them in their house for the night, lately the bullied one doesn’t want to go in because the other is waiting for him and immediately starts harassing him, biting, flapping wings, being horrible. It breaks my heart to have to put him in there but I have to keep him safe from (other) predators. The bullied one is a big male Toulouse. I don’t know what he ever did to deserve this and I don’t know how to stop it. After a few minutes it seems that things quiet down in the goose house, but I hate that this has been going on for over a week and it seems to be an everyday thing. Any advice on what could cause it or how to stop it? It’s late October, not mating season
