Hello. I have a 1 year old Easter Egger Roo that I have raised from a bitty. He was always very well mannered until the past month or so. Now he actively attacks me, he does not not attack. he husband. I have tried everything, being nice, holding him close, holding him upside down, being assertive. Any other suggestion. He is a beautiful Roo and I hate to get rid of him.

Secondly, he has destroyed my legs. I have nips and cuts and bruises, any suggestions on how to heal my injuries quickly?

We decided to get rid of him.
That was a good choice.
Just from my experience, I find the best roosters are the ones that are terrified of me. I never hold them or allow them to eat out of my hand. I dont pick them up or coddle them when they are young. They always move out of the way as I walk through. and because I have not gotten to FAMILIAR with them they do not attack me.
The only time I handle my roosters is after dark in the coop usually just to trim back spurs or health and bug checks. I do not make these procedures pleasant for him, and because i do all of this, I am able to keep my beautiful good and well behaved rooster on the farm. I have egg customers and Children that show up here and I free range and any human aggresive rooster is not tolerated for one minute.
Just food for thought if rooster is in your future.
Familiarity breeds contempt.
