So about a month ago I received a BUNCH of baby chickens and 9 baby turkeys. They are just a month old and the turkeys are starting to "poof up" as my wife calls it and I assume they are tom's. also have one that I believe is a Spanish turkey that tries to show dominance in the yard. We have some wild game chickens that have been running around here for years. Well one day the Spanish poult took offense to the wild rooster in the yard and challenged it. That poor rooster was coonfused as to fight the turkey or what and he finally backed down and left, this turkey is about a quarter his size. Is this normal for a turkey or did I receive a pit bull in a turkey body.

Another Question: they are also doing a standoff and attacking each other, is this them trying to establish dominance in the flock?

Pecking order squabbles. They can get long and drawn out when the participants are equally matched.
