so my girls have not been using the chicken ladder to enter their coop. i put them in every night - so tonight i opened the side vents when i put them up today at 5pm (i was not going to be home until 10pm) and it is 63 here tonight. so...i got my flashlight and went to check on them and 3 of the 8 were 'up the chicken ladder' sleeping on the bedding i have in the 'penthouse'.
they were too cute.
i had been coaxing with treats on the ladder inside to get them up to the penthouse where the roosts are located, but i knew only one was brave enough to venture up there.
