I received a bunch of eggs little over a week ago and I candled them and there are 4 that the air cell is on the wrong end. The little end. I've had backward zippers before and have lost more than have survived.

What would you all do if you had this? Would you go ahead and toss the eggs or give them a chance? There are signs of development.

Should I turn the egg around and have the air cell up like the rest? They are in a turner with the air cell down right now and it is small. If I turn the eggs around would or could the air cell get a little larger? They are ameracauna eggs that I don't plan to keep the chicks. I'll just sell them. It that helps with suggestions.

You are supose to put the small end down in the turner. I wouldn't toss them. Maybe putting them on their side out of the turner and hand turn them. I don't know if the air cell is fixed at this point. Maybe someone will know.

I would have done that but I have duck eggs in the bator that I don't have a turner in. My other bator is full and it has a turner in it also. The humidity is too high for chicken eggs to put them in with the duck eggs. I have them little side down. I was just wondering if I should flip them. These eggs are due for lock down on the 18th.
