I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of where they have candled there eggs right before moving them to the hatcher or taking out the turner for them to hatch. I found the chart that shows what the air cell is suppose to look like, but I would like to see someone elses actual egg. I think this would give me a better idea of what the eggs should look like in order to hopefully hatch without getting stuck, or without drowning. I am due to put my eggs in the hatcher on wednsday, and hopefully Ill have a better idea by then. I have learned so much valuable info since I joined this forum, and just want to thank everyone for all the great posts, and for sharing all of your experiences so us newbies can also learn. Thanks once again

I am going to post pics of 2 different eggs I checked this evening, please give me your opinion. Do you think the air cell is large enough? to small? just right?

Thanks

Those air cells look about the same as all of mine right before hatching. I have checked out the charts and I don't think any of my eggs ever have as big of an air cell as the chart shows. I have had lots of different sized and shaped air cells hatch. If you are right on age of them and still see movement in the egg, you should be fine.

What are you candling with? You can see inside your eggs much better than I can.

Good luck with your hatch!!!

What day are you on? Very nice pics, but they look like they have some time to go before hatching. Your air cell looks like mine do on about day 16. Good luck!

Thank you, Im on day 17 today. So do they still need to get bigger before hatching time?

My air cells are usuallly a little larger than that when I put them in the hatcher. Egg #1 is too small for sure, Egg #2 is probably okay, but wouldn't hurt if it was a little bigger.
