Air holes during lock down?

I have a still air incubator in lock down. How important is it to have the air hole plugs out?
The incubator has 8 small holes already. Is this enough or do the plugs have to be taken out for the hatch?

Air flow is *crucial* during lockdown. Have as many plugs open as you can and still maintain temperature and humidity.
