Ok so I totally want to go home to see my parents for this holiday break.. I missed the breaks because my DH was wishy washy with HIS plans..

Does anyone know about hints and tricks to get cheaper airfair with the airlines?

I guess the thing you could do is look for last-minute deals. However, I'm doubting you're going to find any empty seats on planes around the holidays.

Problem is, with the economic slowdown, most airlines cut flights, so the few that they do have are all overbooked.

How far away from FL is home?

Amtrak? Greyhound?
