Hello! Breeds with larger combs are good for hot weather and not too many feathers. There are lots of heat tolerant chickens, but Naked Necks, Anconas, Andulusians, Leghorns, Egyptian Fayoumis, Cream Legbars and Penedesencas come to mind for a short list.

Hello and Welcome to BYC. Glad to have you here with us in this fun and poultry loving community. I'm in deep southern AL and most breeds I've tried to well here. Especially American White Bresse that are laying like crazy now in the shortest days of the year. RIR do well also. I've had White Jersey Giants to do quite well as good layers along side Delaware.
