Anyone know some local breeders? I don't want to have to ship up, if I don't need to.

Wish you were closer to SD, I just found a New Zealand & California Breeder in Colome, SD. Its a few hours from me, but still far better than shipping. Like you I don't want to ship, but I wanted the meat breeds and all I have found "locally" has been the minis which won't work for me.

Hope you find a breeder in your area.
