I currently live in SE Oklahoma and I’m thinking about moving to Juneau area in 7 years or so after college, but the thing is, winter weather can be so bad I don’t think chickens would do well, even cold hardy breeds. I don’t really want to give up chicken keeping but I just don’t see it happening there. I’m probably gonna just have my ball python and dog by then so it won’t really affect me very much not being able to keep them. Also what other birds can you feasibly keep there like guineas or something.
