Albon 5% for Turkey poult? How much? Help Please!

A friend has a turkey poult with most likely cocci. She has albon 5% on hand. How much would she use for 1 gallon of water?

I can't find info anywhere for dosing chicks or poults for the 5%. I know that one is for dogs, but it is what she has on hand and it's the same meds. Just need the dosage.

Anyone know this?

I can't find the information. Most of the sulfadimethoxine (Albon, Di-Methox, Sulfamed G) that people use is the 12.5% for chickens and turkeys. The dosage for the 12.5% powder is 1 tsp per gallon.

Thanks. Want a 2nd opinion on my math. So, for 5%, you would give 2 1/2 times the dose to make 12% dose right?

So.... 2 1/2 tsp/gal? And is that a chick dose?

And if so, are chick and poult doses the same? (I saw another dose of something else was half the chick dose for a poult, but I know other meds work differently. But I just want to check)
