But to go back to your original thread.. your birds are 3 yrs old & molt is kicking there ass. Don’t expect any now that days are shorter and cooler. Wait til about February now. I have around 25 layers. Ranging from right at it to around 2 yrs. Im lucky to see 2-3 a day rite now. A month ago was almost 20 a day. When they hit that magic age / molt / cool weather & days there bodys shut down. When they come back in I will have about 10 more rite at laying age. I cull out around 2.5 - 3 yrs old. Whether that means for my freezer or sell off as they stil have plenty life left ; and i replenish stock from broodies yearly
