All 8 girls in 1 nestbox!

Boy, did I get a surprise this morning when I went to let the girls out. They were ALL crammed into their new "nestbox" which is an extra-large cat litter pan! I would not have thought it possible for 8 fifteen week olds to fit in there if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes.

Oh, to have had the camera! I burst out laughing, they all looked at me like, what? And they let me pet them and didn't move! I actually lifted one out of the box, and they were all calm. Amazing!

Hopefully this means eggs soon.

...Id say they are getting ready. Its funny how they all want the same box ! My girls have started using 3 out of the 4 boxes that they have. Maybe when it come time to laying they might use other boxes too. They are so fun to watch.

My birds double up a lot. Here are some picture of my birds in their nest boxes just to give you a laugh. I have had 6 at one time in a nest box but I don't think I have a picture. Now I try to have my camera handy. These birds are 1 and 2yrs old.
