Yes....new to chickens. Just got our babies today

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 8 hens

(3) What breeds do you have?
Barred Plymouth Rock, Buff Orpington, Buff Brahma, White Crested Black Polish, Black Silkie, Partridge Cochin, Bantam (breed unknown at this point), Silver Laced Wyandotte

Internet Search

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, Camping, Visiting small wineries and covered bridges around New England

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
3 kids ages 10 to 26 - , 1 grandson age 4
four cats (ages 3 and 13). Had horses and goats growing up, never owned chickens. New endeavor for us.
Husband works maintenance in a school. I am a test engineer testing components for the space shuttle Orion
I am also a Girl Scout Leader to 2 troops of 24 girls total, a recruiter, and a trainer
