All black hen (face and comb) and all black rooster- nearly

I want here working at the time, but the farmer accepted 2 surrenders to the farm because the people could no longer keep them. I work on a unique farm that's got million dollar homes and me, and I'm seriously questioning what possible breed these chickens are...

I need to get pictures, but the hen is sleek and jet black, face, beak comb, everything. The rooster is exactly the same except he has cream coloured feathers, just a few, around his neck. Almost like an EE.

It's pouring rain, as soon as it lets up in getting in there to get a picture. Need the opinion of my backyard friends! I understand the solid black chickens ar2 quite expensive, I'd assume it would be out of desperation for a home they turned to us, as we're well known in the area.

I have a couple Ayam cemani (supposedly) roosters that I just acquired. This is what they look like:

I really think they are handsome boys!
Another all black bird is the Svart Hona.

I love those pictures of your rooster, stunning! So are these, the coop, my cigarette smoke and the flash don't do then justice. Tomorrow I intend to get better photos.

So any opinions on if the black chickens ARE a breed of black chicken, even with that light bit of cream feather? I wasn't aware there was a variety of breeds with the mutation till reading up today.

From what I’ve read on cemanis there could be some color but it would not be the ideal standard, or if the bird was not pure. I am by no means an expert though, just did a little reading when I got my boys.

I was wondering if that might be a reason they were dripped off, either he wasn't ideal, or they purchased chicks and the color came out, but the hen doesn't have flaws... so not sure? Was one of the few times I wasn't here to take in a surrender and I rally wish I was!

Got some nicer pictures this morning!

I thought the hen was a crow in my coop, a docile crow, or confused trapped!

It's hard to take photos of black animals! Quite a challenge. The rooster with that contrasting color is very striking, correct or no! I hope you share more pics.....
