After 2 weekends of lots of work, our new coop addition is done! Acquired too many chicks( 32 total, 3 roos) this spring and had to add on to house them all for the winter. We did it all "on the cheap" total $ 42 for an 8x8 addition. Old coop was on the left, new addition is on the right, new roof all over. Notice the dresser drawers we used for the nest boxes (they were on the way to the dump) We had fun and the ladies are now enjoying much more room to stretch out in.
