All my babies are sick i think

Did you find the hard crops in the dark before the chickens woke up, or after they had been awake for a while? It is normal for them to wake up with empty crops, and immediately eat breakfast which fills their crops again.

If they are acting normal otherwise, I would leave their usual water and feed available, and check again in a few hours or this evening to see if they feel more normal. If you are still worried at that time, take away all feed at bedtime and check first thing the next morning.

If they are not acting normal, what other symptoms have you noticed?

That's what I did last night cause they looked big....however there was some left this morning....all are acting normal

They will often go to bed with stuffed crops, since they don't eat at night in the dark that holds them over. It's important to check first thing in the morning before they have had any food or water to see if they are empty. If they are eating and drinking and acting normally, droppings look normal, then it sounds like they are probably OK.

So was there a lot left in their crops this morning, or just a little?

If it's just a little, and they are acting normal, it is probably still fine.
But if they had a lot in their crops this morning, after having no food all night, then I agree that something is not right.

It was probably smaller than a golf ball maybe the size of one...

Personally, I would just keep watching to be sure they act normal, and I would not fret too much. That has typically worked fine for me.

"Act normal" includes eating, drinking, and pooping. If they really do have food stuck in their crops, they will feel full, which will make them eat less, which will make them poop less-- and you should be able to notice that within another day or two. They would also start acting lethargic, if they were not eating enough each day.

But if a normal amount seems to be going in and out, and they continue to act healthy, then they probably are healthy.

So one of them has sour crop how do I fix it I took food away for 24 hrs and water for 12 and it went down a little...but what next?
Are you sure it’s sour crop? What are their symptoms? I’m taking it that the bird is in the early stages of sour crop, so I would advise you gently massage the crop downwards, that will help it go down.
What food do they eat? And how cleanly is the coop? Sour crop can be caused by a dirty environment.
