I'm in Missouri and dont know if that really matters any though. What breeds are best for eggs and what ones are good meat chickens??

Cornish cross are the go to bird for meat.
Rhode Island Reds and White Leghorns are high production egg layers.

Thank you, I knew Cornish Cross were a good meat chick as we did have one. He got mean towards a chick and so he became dinner (I know sounds a little bad but its true) we nicknamed him"turkey bird" cause he did get so big
