All of a sudden, no eggs...

About three months ago, a hawk (I think) got one of my five hens. Then about a month and a half ago, a neighbors dog got another one, leaving me with three. Since the last episode, the remaining hens have slowed waaaay down on laying eggs. I never get more than one a day, and some days, none. It seems like they should be over their trauma by now, but maybe not. I can't tell which one is laying or which two aren't on any given day. Isn't this the time of year (I'm in Georgia) that they should be laying good? It seems like last year at this time, all five laid an egg every day. I'd be happy for some advice.

Mine went for three months without laying a single egg. I threatened them with the cooking pot and low and behold they started laying again. But seriously sometimes they just need a break from laying.

Well, thank you...I did not know that. I guess I'll give them more time before the stewpot.
