All of my ducks stopped laying?

you are welcome... it is nice to know that others are having the same issues. :D

I agree, you don't feel like the "odd duck out" (bahaha!) when someone else is going through it too. Just an update though, this is day 6 and I did find a rubber egg this morning, it's the only egg but maybe it's a start? If it had been hard shelled I would have left it in there as encouragement or a reminder of what they are supposed to do (haha) but I didn't want it to get stepped on and broken all over the coop. I have noticed in the last 2 days that they will go and sit on the nest as though they are going to lay but then they get off and there is nothing to show for their time. I am going to take that as a positive sign that things are going in the right direction and soon they will be laying again.

I agree... that sounds positive!

Mine have started up too!!! :celebrate

Wooot!! congratz, I am anxiously waiting for mine to officially start again. I'm not sure I can count the soft shelled as a start, we'll see! The other 2 better get their fanny's in gear (haha, get it? :D )

:celebrate :woot :highfive: I got 2 duck eggs today!! I am so happy!!! :wee Thank you guys for hanging out with me and keeping my head on straight while I waited for them to do their thing, much appreciated.

I know that this thread is 4 yrs old but just an update in case anyone else ever has this problem. I never did get regular eggs from any of the girls, maybe 3 eggs a year out of each and they were always messed up somehow, rubber, fairy, partially shelled, etc etc, never a normal egg beyond those 2 I reported on Apr 30, 2018. Those were the last ones. One of the ducks has passed recently from reproductive issues "collapsed ovum pathway" not entirely sure why they used that terminology but that's what the report said. The other 2 are still alive but still, to this day, not laying any eggs. Well, they lay 4 or 5 no shell eggs a year each.
My point here is that ducks can live a good long while without laying good eggs (or at all...), they are great pets and alarm systems for the yard lol, but the reproductive issues can kill them so watch those girls!
