Many peeps use tires as poor man's raised beds in gardening. Often for growing potatoes.
If you ae motivated, and strong enough to invert one. a tire on a rim, can be inverted into a nice flower pot.

That plant is wild, ever heard of what it does when ingested? Scopolamine sounds terrifying!


"Datura intoxication typically produces delirium, hallucination, hyperthermia, tachycardia, bizarre behavior, urinary retention, and severe mydriasis, with resultant painful photophobia that can last several days. Pronounced amnesia is another commonly reported effect. The onset of symptoms generally occurs around 30 to 60 minutes after ingesting the herb. These symptoms generally last from 24 to 48 hours, but have been reported in some cases to last as long as two weeks."

They could work well, especially the bigger tires. They aren't entirely free, though, if you go get them instead of waiting until you replace your tires. If you do wait, ask for a credit because the disposal costs of the old tires are part of the price you pay for the new ones.

They can't be thrown away or burned. It can be hard to find somewhere that will take them. Here, the best option is the local government doing a tire roundup once a year. It still costs $15 per tire because taxes pay part of the disposal costs.

Free at my local tip, piles of them. I brought home a few to grow flowers in but the tomatoes took them over.
