so I just had a batch of EE's hatch and I put under an egg from my SLW pullet and my Splash Blue Laced Red roo.

is this their wee one, if so, what do you make of it's possible coloring as an adult.

THANKS

this one is not crossed with an EE, it was hatched with a bunch of EE eggs.
'
this one is from a SLW pullet and a splash BLR roo. so it's a pure wy. just wanted to make sure this one is the wy one and what color it might be.

Looks to me like an EE. - And it will grow to have a mock-wheaten partridge type color. Kinda hard to explain, but it looks like a normal EE chick to me - Perhaps it does have Wyandotte in it?

it is a wyandotte.

it's mum is a SLW pullet , it's dad is a splash laced blue red, the two of the wys are in a seperate coop from the EE's, this is a pure wyandotte. there is no EE whatsoever in this baby.

this is the dad.

this is the mom

so if you think it has beard and a muff, perhaps this isn't the wy baby.

perhaps baby on right is the wy baby.

Yes, the baby on the right is a Wyandotte - That chipmunk one though is certainly an EE. . .

The Wyandotte on the right looks to be a BLR or Black laced red. When you cross the two, those are your offspring options.

I am hoping it is a true BLR baby.

so now, I'm not sure who the mama is on the middle one. the yellow/chipmunk cutie patootie one.
I only had two buff hens under there, they both hatched as yellows.
I had 2 blue pullet eggs, one is a dud, the one that hatched is blue.
I had two aussie eggs, one was a dud, the other a black one.
then I have the partridge color EE, I had 3 of her eggs under, maybe that one is hers. hmmm.
I am not sure who the mum is on this one.
