Hello everyone!
My name is Katelyn and I am currently on day 17 of my first hatch; I can’t wait to meet my little babies!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am currently incubating my first hatch!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
9 in the incubator
(3) What breeds do you have?
Incubating I have Ayam Cemani, Polish, Silkies, and Seramas.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I can’t wait to find out!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Hanging out with family, and working outdoors on various projects!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 dogs, I am hoping they get along with my chickens! Athena is a Dachshund and Lucy is a Golden Doodle.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I have been researching a lot over the past few weeks and I always found myself on BYC threads. The community seems respectful and wise so I needed to jump in on the amazing community you have created!
