Almost clucking!

I heard the chicks almost clucking today!!! It's a strange little noise, really cute, I'll miss the 'peeping' though when they grow up.

How old are they? What kind are they and do you have hens or roo's? Sorry , I am just curious as mine are over 6 weeks old and still kinda peeping. Every now and then I get one funny kinda noise if they are startled, but that is it. Trudy

They are about 8 weeks old, hens (I hope) and I think they are Bovan Browns (?) They are still peeping, but making half clucking noises now and then, especialy when I touch them or shoo them off my favourite plants!!! When one of them finds a really nice bug and the other two chase her for it they kind of cluck, it's really funny.
