Almost ready to hatch! :)

Ok so i am on day 18 and i just realized that i was supposed to have the vent plug open the whole time (this is my first time) but i have been hand turning them all so i have to open it 3 times a day so that lets fresh oxygen in, and when we candled them uesterday we could see some of the chick's moving around in there. Do you think it will affect the hatching much that it was closed? And Should i open it for lock down?

If they are moving that's good, but yes I would remove all plugs now to get as much oxygen in the incubator as possible. Oxygen is critical at this stage of incubation as the chick moves from living in a liquid environment to learning to breathe air when it internally pips into the air sac.
