Hi, I'm an English gal living in Northern California with my husband, cat and chickens (I know right there for some of you I probably have my priorities wrong)! We started keeping chickens last November and have 8 hens and a rooster, and I've been hooked on BYC for a couple of months already - so finally decided to join in!

I started in May with 2 we now have 25, 12 eggs in the incubator 21 to go into the incubator tomorrow and 4 ducks. We also have 5 kids 4 grandkids, 4 dogs, 10 rats 2 hampsters 2 cocktiels and a boa constrictor and a turtle.
