Hey guys. Been a tough winter with my frostbitten chicks, and now, I've had to cull a bird. I am posting because I want to know if anyone knows what this is? She was moving fine and eating and drinking, but her poop smelled absolutely retched and she pooped like a duck(runny and you can hear her poop).

It looks like she may have suffered a prolapsed vent and had some damage which can rot the tissue. I hope your problems with frostbite get better. I would imagine that it is very hard to keep chickens warm where you live. Heat lamps are dangerous, but I do use one when temps get close to zero F here. High up ventilation so humidity can escape, and closing up direct drafts and doors/windows is how I deal with frostbite, but it still happens to combs occasionally, or to wattles if they get wet in my electric heated dog bowls. I would not let chicks hatch this time of year since it is just too cold.
