Also new in VA

Hi, had chickens years ago in CA. Moved to VA a year ago and immediately built a coop. Have had my girls since spring.
sadly lost my beautiful Lavender Orpington, Hyacinth this week due to respiratory disease. Results of diagnosis pending.
Now have eight very sweet girls on medications. 3 Buff Orpingtons, a barnvelder, two olive eggers, a wellsummer, a cuckoo blue bar.
hoping to increase my activity here on this site and learn, learn, learn!
