Alternate Feed

We have chicks almost one month old. We ran out of feed and can't get to the feed store until tomorrow. Is there anything I can feed them as an alternate to the baby chick feed that won't hurt them? They eat bugs like crazy but I'm afraid that won't be enough to get them through til late tomorrow.

You can cook them some eggs and mash them up. Maybe some oatmeal...I know there are several other things....hopefully someone else will jump in with other ideas.

cracked corn

Anything will work really. There is very little you could feed them for 24 hours which would casue any harm to them.
