Just call him an EE (easter egger) don't call him Ameraucana.. since he has things that don't match any of the breed standard- yellow legs.. calling him that can get a whole bunch of folks coming down to give lectures, lol.. It's a very long lasting, widespread problem of the Araucana, Ameraucana and EE getting lumped together. (some get irritated at misspelling Ameraucana.. I;m not sure if that's the right spelling.. often I just play it REAL safe and shorten it to Amer... lol)

He could either be an EE with this kind of white, called dominant white.. OR he could really be an Leghorn- Amer or EE cross/mix. He matches both descriptions easily. If there are no white Amer/EE in their flock, the only whites being Leghorns, then it's very likely to be Leghorn cross/mix.

In any case.. calling him an EE will be completely safe for you to do so..

Well snow man went back to the family he came from

sniff sniff.......they called me and wanted to trade me 2 hens for HIM I told them HE was a He but I dont think they belive me ....the wife and kids wanted HIM back .... I think the husband got it for giveing away snow white...

my mom got one of my new hens she cant even eat chicken eggs!

all I have are pictures I guess it was ment to be to have my red roo nigel.....

he is a sweet guy. After haveing 3 roosters in a row that wanted to pick my eyes out it is nice to have one I DONT have to carry a stick around the yard for.

Those things in the back are weave poles for the dogs.......

I dont know why he never grew a big tail..... he was sick when I got him

Sounds like Nigel is a sweetheart. Who knows maybe snowman would have ended up getting noisy or mean later and you would be regretting givin up Nigel.
