. At least they did say they're hybrids, but I'm betting there's not a drop of actual Cemani blood there. Those birds look like Australorps or mixed breeds, one looks to have a white-ish earlobe. Shame on them.
 
What's crazy is on the listing, he pretty much called anyone leaving negative feedback SCAMMERS! I was just like "wow, pot and kettle much?" haha!

I guess if anyone buys them, they'll learn their lesson about homework. But honestly, I love my australorp, so it won't be a big loss.
 
I messaged the seller. I'm interested in what he'll say. I asked if the ayam part was the rooster or the hen and the colour of the egg. Hopefully he perfected his line.
 
Hopefully! As much as I love my australorp, she was no $20 egg! I just can't believe what these people will try to pull!

I don't really understand the craze around these birds, though, as I understand they aren't really good layers and they're tiny!

Don't get me wrong, I like the look of them, and I'm hoping to add some svart hona to my flock, but not for some of these outrageous prices I've seen! For basically a yard ornament!

Good eye on the whitish earlobe. I missed seeing that; so not even a full blood Australorp there. :eek:(
 
So I think the seller got had, too. He said he purchased them as AC hybrids, and doesn't seem to know that a hybrid + a hybrid doesn't make a hybrid. Oy. He said the eggs are brown to cream, so who knows what's really in there!
