Am I dumb? What am I looking for air-cell wise?

I just got some eggs yesterday....trying to see an aircell....what the heck am I looking for? I can see a yolk, but I can not see anything that looks like what I think an air cell should look like...........

Candle only fom the top (fat end) with the light shining down into the egg to see the aircells. If you candle from any other angle your view will distorted.

If your eggs are extremely fresh your air cell may be very small and hard to see... you should see a lighter circle in the fat end of the egg that looks like nothing is inside it at that point...HERE is a pic:



Yours will be much smaller though this eggs is on day 11 of incubation.
