Am I getting enough eggs?

I'm wondering if I should be getting more eggs each day.
We have 16 hens and only two maybe a third havd went through molt. All hens are laying and have been for at least a few months at the youngest. It has been warm here but summer is usually peak time. They do free range some days but other days they don't and the egg amount doesn't change. I've never had a problem with them not laying in the boxes. We have 8 nest boxes. They have free access to layer feed water and oyster shells all the time.

We have the following : (top two already did molt third one maybe has)

1 Rhode Island red
1 white leg horn mixed
1 partridge rock
3 barred rock
2 buff orphington
2 light brahma
5 Ameraucana
1 white leg horn

Should we be getting more eggs or what do you think?

I think that's fine. Some breeds do every other day I at any given time it should be min of 8 a day and at most 16!! My girls are egg making machines so they are making ( to 6 eggs each a week. Most hens I think average every other day, 3 or 4 per week. Maybe take a look at your weekly total verses daily?

These are all young birds? how old? What are you feeding them?

Some of your breeds aren't egg-a-day layers, notably the Brahmas. My hatchery partridge rocks only laid 4-5 eggs a week, but then I had a very small sample. I've heard the partridges aren't as production based as the barreds, though.

I'm thinking if they're young birds, under 18 months old, you should be getting more eggs unless the heat is slowing things down. Here's my guesstimate how many eggs each bird should be laying....

5 Ameraucana this varies. My Easter eggers have always been great layers, usually 6 a week. Some folks here say theirs are only 4.
