From what i can see and their ages they all looked like pullets to me. Someone else with more experience will come alot soon.

Those are easter eggers, not araucanas: they all have crests, muffs/beards and tails, none have tufts, and the head shape is wrong. Body shape in 2nd & 4th photos looks pretty good, though. Can't tell on the last photo.

I don't know sussex or marans, so can't knowledgeably comment.

I get my eggs down the road from http://www.highdownpoultry.co.uk (
I Know araucanas are classed/judged different here then in the USA They are pure blue layers As EE lay mixed eggs, I dont think they are classed as them . ( dont shoot me

i dont mind what they are ) still this breed seem to be award winners here in the uk .

Didn't realize you were from across the pond

Yes, y'all have muffed & bearded araucanas, but they should still have tufts and be rumpless. Yes, not all araucanas have the tufts--that's the way it is when you are dealing with lethal genes. And some breeders do keep tailed araucanas to help with breeding as some believe that the rumplessness decreases fertility.

I don't remember about crests--maybe Krys or another person from the UK will pop in with that answer.

No problem I have been doing alot of reading about arau's and as of yet it seems very conflicting about what they should be/where they come from ie the mix ..My ones do have tufts its just the 2nd pic one is only just getting them ' They dont have to be rumpless here But we do have them too , Going by what i have read rumpless is dominant from ( Colloncas ) but with breeding the 2 chicken breeds that make up araucanas it was breed out , as the other quetro ( i think that was the name) do have tails.
