**I don't have a vet that takes chickens near me.**
I think i have a calico hen with a tumor(cancer) right on her vent.
She hasn't laid in like 2 months, and when she
did it was like every other week, and it took her a while to actually lay it.
I didn't think to check until recently, I think the cause of this was because of this tumor thing? I thought she might be egg bound but this definitely isn't an egg.
She seems pretty uncomfortable, but she does still listen to her rooster and pecks at scratch.
She also perches on the highest perch in the coop, so still has flight strength.
If this cancer, although upsetting I assume some sort of euthanasia would be the only thing I can do? If not, what is this?

She is beautiful, I hope it is not cancer, but something treatable.
Here are educators that can help you whoever online.

Is the area around her swollen vent firm or hard? You may be right about this being a tumor or oviduct cancer, but have you inserted a gloved finger into her vent to check if she has a stuck egg or poop obstruction? Is her whole lower belly enlarged? I am going to tag @Wyorp Rock to look at the picture. Do you have any human calcium or Tums where you could give her one orally, in case it is an egg or lash egg stuck? How long have you noticed this swollen area?

I mentioned that she isn't egg bound.
And I have, this ball is right on the outline of the vent and its skin.
Very hard/firm, far from squishy.
Other than being very light/skinny and pale skin, everything else is normal, no enlarged belly or anything. She has hard poops still.

What would i do to treat that? I don't think it's something that showed up recently, so it's been here.
If you have vet care to evaluate the lump and perhaps clean it out if it is indeed a feather cyst, it would be a good idea.

There are multiple threads here on BYC if you do an onsite search about feather cysts and of course Youtube has videos too.

I mentioned on the original post that I do not have a vet around that takes in poultry, at least not chickens.

Ah yes, I see. Yes, didn't take the time to reread your Original Post.
Sorry. I answer hundreds of posts weekly along with mail, pardon me for not remembering every detail.

Hopefully you can find a suitable video or more information by doing an onsite search.
